For 18 years, Magali Bryla, has been exploring Asia in search of micro-farmers who stick to their land and roots

With his intuition, energy and demand, he selects the best land and chooses old varieties of rice to unearth exotic and delicious flavors and also helps small farmers to unite and work together in a fair and sustainable relationship.

It all started in Thailand in 2003, when she worked with small rice families in the first fair trade Thai organic rice cooperative in the Golden Triangle region in the north of the country. Since then, he has continued his journey in other regions, including Punjab, Cambodia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, where his priority is to keep the land healthy to safeguard biodiversity.

During their visits, there is a growing interest in meeting women who keep the memory of ancestral knowledge alive, take care of their families and their small corner of the world. Small family farms, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), continue to feed more than half of humanity today.
