The kuzu of La Finestra sul Cel is a starch of the root of Pueraria Lobata that comes from Japan. It is used in cooking as a thickening of creams and sauces. But where all its potential lies is as a natural remedy. Its root has been used for more than 2,000 years in traditional Chinese medicine to relieve inflammatory symptoms of the intestine and stomach, vomiting and diarrhea, gastrointestinal ulcers, etc.
HOW TO USE: Get rid of cold water before cooking. During cooking stir non-stop with a wooden spoon. Bake for 2 minutes.
