Marian thistle is a beautiful plant with strong leaves and bright purple flower. It owes its name to the milky appearance of its leaves that, according to legend, would have collected the mother’s milk from the Virgin Mary, protecting it next to her son, from Herod’s claws. The ancient Greeks and Romans used it as a treatment for liver disease, as hepato-protector and as a remedy for snake bites. The seeds are grown in a 100% organic way and are immediately reduced to powder after their collection and selection, thus maintaining their properties that will give an extra healthy to our day to day.
Instructions for use
With a slight bitter taste, it can be added to smoothies, smoothies, fruit juice with other super foods or simply in milk, vegetable drink, yogurt or water with a slight citrus and ginger touch.
