Verat fillets (Scomber scombrus) without skin or thorns, from sustainable and controlled fishing, caught one by one by line by artisanal fishing boats on the coasts of the Northeast Atlantic (FAO Zones 27.VIII.c -Golf de Vizcaya-). Cleaned and packaged by hand in extra virgin olive oil of first cold pressure from certified organic farming.
Line fishing, a method recommended by various conservation organizations, prevents discards due to unwanted sizes and non-commercial or protected species, ensuring the natural stocks necessary for the maintenance of future generations of the species. The non-use of nets is a guarantee for the quality and freshness of the fish used in this product.
