Solgar Alpha-Lipoic Acid 120 mg provides 120 mg of alpha-lipoic acid per capsule. Lipoic acid is produced naturally in the body and is found in foods such as red meat, carrots, beetroot, spinach and broccoli, although there it is usually bound to other substances that make it harder to absorb. It is distributed throughout the body, especially in the liver, heart and kidneys.
