Strawberry and raspberry energy gel 40 g REFIX

The strawberry and raspberry energy gel 40 g REFIX is a 40-gram sports gel sachet from the REFIX brand, formulated to provide energy and electrolytes during intense training.

The pack states 18 g of natural carbohydrates per sachet, magnesium 64.6 mg (15 % NRV) and sodium 172.43 mg. The flavour is red berries: strawberry and raspberry. REFIX presents it as a light-texture gel, gluten-free and vegan, with seawater and minerals (magnesium, potassium and calcium).

Ingredients published by the manufacturer: sea water, maltodextrin, organic liquid agave, mineral salts (potassium and magnesium citrate, tricalcium citrate hydrate), strawberry juice (13 %), raspberry juice (12 %), thickener (xanthan gum), preservative (potassium sorbate), natural flavours and acidity regulator (citric acid) from organic agriculture, from concentrate. Organic agave in the recipe is not by itself an organic certification of the gel: the product is not presented here as organic.

How to use: take 1 to 3 sachets every 60 minutes of intense long-duration exercise, evenly or according to effort intensity. Shake well before use. It is a 40 g gel for races and long sessions, not an isotonic drink.

The pack shows vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free claims.
