Deglycyrrhizinated Liquorice Root Extract (DGL) 60 vegetable capsules Solgar

Solgar Deglycyrrhizinated Liquorice combines a standardised deglycyrrhizinated liquorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra), with less than 1% glycyrrhizin, and 225 mg of powdered liquorice root per capsule. Liquorice root has been used since ancient Greece and Rome for its sweet taste and is still widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. Excessive and prolonged intake of glycyrrhizin can have undesirable effects, hence the interest of the deglycyrrhizinated form.
