Solgar Folate 1000 µg provides vitamin B9 as calcium L-methylfolate (Metafolin), the active form of folic acid, ready to be used by the body. Its high strength makes dosing easier when a higher intake is sought. Vitamin B9 is particularly important for women of childbearing age.
