The El Granero Integral Organic Red Lentil and Pea Animal Pasta is an alternative to traditional pasta made with legumes and brown rice. The pieces have animal shapes, a feature that adds a fun component to the dish and can be especially attractive to the little ones.

The mixture is made up of two different pastas. The red part combines red lentil flour and brown rice flour, while the green part uses pea flour and brown rice flour. All the ingredients indicated come from organic farming.

This composition provides fifteen grams of protein for every hundred grams of product and also provides dietary fiber. The incorporation of legumes allows for a different nutritional profile than that of a pasta made exclusively with cereals.

The preparation is simple. The pasta must be cooked in water for approximately eight to ten minutes, adjusting the time according to the desired texture. It can then be combined with tomato sauce, vegetables, pesto, olive oil, cheese or other accompaniments.

It is a gluten-free pasta and suitable for vegan diets. However, the manufacturer indicates that it may contain traces of soy, information that should be taken into account in case of allergy or sensitivity.
