Herb frankfurters organic 200 gr EverNat

Organic herb frankfurters by EverNat: plant-based sausages made with seitan, in a 200 g pack, ready to cook and certified organic (AB label).

They are a plant-based alternative to frankfurter-style sausages, 100% vegetarian and made in France. The base is organic seitan (72%), from wheat protein (37%) and water, with sunflower oil, pre-cooked lupin seeds and a simple seasoning of herbs (0.2%), garlic powder, black pepper, sea salt and dehydrated vegetable stock with onion, parsnip, carrot, spices, aromatic plants and porcini mushroom powder.

The pack states rich in protein and no additives: they provide 26.9 g of protein per 100 g, 231 kcal, 11.9 g of fat (1.1 g saturates), 2.7 g of carbohydrate (1.2 g sugars), 2 g of fibre and 1.21 g of salt per 100 g.

How are they used? Pan-fry them (about 6 minutes according to the pack), grill them, bake them or cook them on the barbecue. They go with vegetables, salads, rice and pulses, and work just as well in a sandwich or as a plant-based hot dog.

Firm texture and aromatic herb seasoning: what sets them apart is the seitan base with herbs and their high vegetable protein content.
