The organic hazelnut ice cream from Reus KERAS Organic Gelato was born from a very simple idea: if the product is good, there is no need to complicate it.
It is a creamy, protein-rich, low-calorie, gluten-free, colouring-free and preservative-free ice cream, designed to enjoy the real flavour without having to disguise it with artifice.
This flavour comes from the national hazelnut, specifically the Reus hazelnut, an ingredient with its own identity, a toasted aroma and a very round profile.
It is not a noisy or overly rich ice cream: it is direct, fine and deep, with that real nut flavour that is noticeable when the raw material has character.
Its new formula has been improved to achieve a more balanced and pleasant texture in the mouth.
Vegetable fats such as coconut oil have been incorporated to provide more creaminess, prebiotic inulin fibre of agave to promote digestibility and the protein content has been slightly reduced to achieve a more pleasant, soft and round ice cream.
The result is a functional ice cream, but without losing the most important thing: pleasure.
Because an ice cream can have a better formulation, it can be organic, it can be thought out with more criteria, but if it is not good, it is of no use.
And this hazelnut ice cream is clear: creamy texture, toasted flavor and a clean sensation that is reminiscent of real nuts.
