BioVegan organic guar gum (guarkernmehl) is a vegetable-based thickener designed to bind and give a creamy texture, especially in cold dishes, without the need for cooking.
It is ideal for achieving a more stable and pleasant consistency in sauces, salad dressings and mild aioli, and also in spreads with fruit or bread when you want more body without altering the taste much.
As it is a very concentrated ingredient, a small dose is enough to notice the change in texture, making it a practical staple to have in the pantry when you need to thicken quickly and in a controlled manner.
Application and dosage: for a light binding, add 3 g (approx. 1 level teaspoon) for every 250 ml of liquid.
Preparation: beat the mixture until thick at high speed and add the guar gum little by little, passing it through a fine sieve; continue stirring until it thickens and becomes creamy.
Storage: store in a dry place protected from heat, and once opened, consume quickly.
