Eggplants Stuffed in Oil (Makdous) 270 gr Terroirs

Mini stuffed eggplants, makdous type, made by hand in Lebanon with a traditional recipe from Levantine cuisine.

First they are candied in brine and then filled by hand with walnuts, garlic and sweet pepper, before preserving them in oil so that they acquire a tender texture and an intense, slightly acidic flavor.

They are ideal for serving as a mezze, in appetizers, brunches or as a vegetable garnish alongside flatbread, salads or vegetable dishes.
